Q: So, how does this program work exactly?
Burnout to Breakout is a 1:1, 12 week online program. It involves 12 scheduled check ins, with the first week check involving completion of questionnaires, behavioral interviewing, a determination of tangible motivators and an overview of what information is needed in the Self-Care Plan. You read that correctly! A Self -Care plan is generated to promote an individualized approach that reflects your goals, an overview of how we will work together and a measurable approach to track your goals.
Q: What is Applied Behavior Analysis and how is it related to self care?
Applied Behavior Analysis is a science-based, systematic approach that focuses on improving specific behaviors. It’s widely used method also known as, positive reinforcement is the reason why behavior occurs.
This is the most meaningful part of coaching my clients. It’s how those habitual behaviors that are impactful, last. Self-Care is all about creating healthy habits by sticking to a consistent plan that enhances your wellbeing. We take a look at the behaviors that are not serving you anymore (often, unhealthy and undesirable ones) and use embedded reward systems to ensure your efforts don’t go unnoticed. Did I mention that providing reinforcement to my clients is not only fun, but it’s major.
Q: What kind of people do you serve as clients?
At this time, Scratch Made Consulting sole focus is serving our Special Needs community. Specifically, parents (Mom’s & Dad’s) with Special Needs children. I have worked tirelessly serving the Special Needs community for nearly 10 years. My focus now is serving the other half of the child, parents.
Q: How do we know what rewards to use with you?
The motivator assessments performed during our initial session.
Q: Is this in person or online coaching?
At this time, we are serving parents online, meeting them weekly by phone or video conferencing.
Q: How do I know if this program is right for me?
If you are a SNP that wants to take action so that you can show up for your family in a major way, then you are where you need to be. Self-Care is so countercultural, you’re supposed to be busy and take care of your family but then the most important person, ‘ You’ becomes an afterthought. If you are sick of tired of accepting that your self-care days are permanently left behind you, then yes, this is the program for you. We realize that this is a neglected service for many SNP’s which is why we are solely offering it to the families who we view are in need of it the most.
Q: What should I expect?
You should expect to feel uncomfortable. You aren’t used to feeling like there’s something for you. Just like you showed up for your child, show up for yourself so that you can show up for your family.
Q: How will I know if Burnout to Breakout coaching program is getting me results?
It’s simple. Just take a look at the changes in your behavior. Look at the data. What are you seeing more of? You’ll be seeing improvement in an increased consistent, self care routine that reflects your hard work to what truly matters, ‘You’.
